An initiation into yoga and meditation
Monday 18th - Saturday 23rd April (5 nights, 6 days)

As new beginnings sprout, and life awakens this spring, plant your curiosity, and nurture your mind and body as you step onto the healing path of yoga and mediation.
This retreat is all about creating a safe space to learn and grow. For beginners, it is custom designed to build a strong foundation of yoga and meditation in a holistic and consistent way. We will equip you with the knowledge and experience to safely integrate the teachings into a daily practice, and attend any class with confidence. Equally, if you have practiced some yoga and meditation before, you will benefit from the teachings and workshops as they will meet you where you are, and give you the opportunity to expand and deepen your practice.
So whether you are new to yoga and keen to get your practice off to a good start, curious about expanding your consciousness with new techniques, or perhaps just in need of a break with lots of deep relaxation in nature to restore your energy, we’ve got you covered.
During the week you will…
– discover the fundamental movement and breathing principles
– learn simple and potent meditation techniques
– examine the essential yogic history and philosophy

– participate in holistic mind/body workshops for harmony and balance

The Facilitator: Nette, Nirmala Yoga
Nette has been sharing her passion for yoga for over ten years and has been practicing many of the facets of yoga for the last three decades. One of her greatest loves is introducing people to yoga…
“To show them what they’re already capable of, how they’re probably already practising some parts of yoga – perhaps without even knowing – and to share with them accessible yet powerful tools to feel better in their bodies and in their lives.”
Her yoga sessions are designed to give you a well rounded perspective on yoga, in a safe and warm atmosphere. With a BSc in Sports and Life Sciences, and formally trained (& Yoga Alliance certified) in Vinyasa Flow, Hatha Yoga Interdisciplinary, Meditation and Raja Yoga, Nette’s classes have an emphasis on mindfulness and healthy alignment. Often playful, always sincere, classes link breath and movement (vinyasa) in an exploration of body, mind and emotions.
“Nette is a fantastic yoga teacher! As a beginner I really felt comfortable during the sessions and was able to progress at my own pace. Gradually I have become more subtle and balanced and can feel the benefits! I would highly recommend the classes to all levels! Nette is a superstar!” – Jordanne, UK
